Sod Solutions Inc. would like to extend a warm welcome to all viewers of the Designer's Landscape With Gary Alan.

For the second consecutive year, Sod Solutions has partnered with The Designer's Landscape With Gary Alan to create a program focused on a new and exciting turfgrass variety - EMPIRE^® Zoysia. This program was accomplished with the cooperation of King Ranch - Florida which donated three truckloads of EMPIRE Zoysia sod. The sod was used to landscape a private residence in Greenwood, South Carolina and this project is the subject of two episodes of The Designer's Landscape With Gary Alan. Episode one will air on HGTV at 10:30 AM ET on Sunday August 5 and episode two will air at 10:30 AM ET on Saturday August 11.

Mr. Alan, a well-known landscape designer and host of The Designer's Landscape With Gary Alan television program, selected EMPIRE Zoysia for this project based on his positive impressions of the grass as both a designer and contractor. His desire to share new plant varieties with his viewers was the genesis behind the idea to shoot the television spot.

While filming the program, Tobey Wagner, President - Sod Solutions, Inc., and Paul Grose, General Manager - King Ranch - Florida, talked with Mr. Alan about EMPIRE Zoysia and the many positive characteristics that make EMPIRE desirable for home, commercial, and sports applications. Mr. Alan was very impressed with the new zoysiagrass and plans to use EMPIRE in other future projects.
